Gillian is interested in giving a voice to those with historically limited power. She tends to work on projects that encompass humor and pathos while taking on a political subject. Her passions include intersectional feminism, equity, and a good pop culture reference.

She has been deeply involved in the creation of new works by emerging artists, as well as guiding others in their directorial pursuits as a board member of a collegiate theater group.
