Love is staying up to talk past a bedtime.

Love is hearing you. Seeing you.

Letting you be you.

When you feel love, you see love

In the little actions they do

In the words meant just for you

In a place where you finally don’t feel like a fool

Where your heart feels anew.

Love need not romance, though that’s fair.

Love is warm and open and forever if you dare.

You feel it beating in the air.

It’s unexpected, but you know it’s there.

Stick around and you might find

Love is not just something in your mind.

Thoughts and feelings become intertwined.

Your love is beauty and spirit combined.
